THANKFUL THURSDAY

What are you thankful for this Thursday? Iris at Sting My Heart reminds us that no matter how much the water rises, God always throws us a lifeline. Isn't that so true? There is ALWAYS, no matter what situation you find yourself in, and no matter how much trouble seems to last, something to be thankful for. Here's what I'm thankful for:
  • I'm thankful for the women's group we had last night. Two new women attended, and one said that she felt like there was HOPE for her before she left.
  • I'm thankful for the benefit of prayer. It makes a difference.
  • I'm thankful for the people at my church that don't just want to learn the Word, but apply the Word to their lives. We don't always do this do we?
  • I'm so very thankful for being cancer-free now for 9 years.
  • I'm thankful for our little, tiny humble abode.
  • I'm thankful for the promises God made in His Word, like providing us food and shelter. I'm glad that He makes good on anything He promises.
  • I'm thankful for simple things like toiletries and other things that keep us clean, fresh, and presentable. We take these things for granted, but these are really very important, and I'm thankful we can afford these things.
  • I'm thankful that God allowed me to be born and live in the USA.

Go to www.eph2810.com and look at what Iris and others are thankful for. You can even add your thankful post there. We'll be glad to share in your thankfulness. Bless you today.

This is a great thankful list. How often do we snob the little things! But, just like my elders used to say "You can not have your dollar without the cents."
Thank you for opening my eyes and mind.

Perfect list :) Thanks for your comments on mine. I think next week I'll have to add that I'm thankful for being connected to such a secure and strong group of women.

Yours is a wonderful and thoughtful list. Thank you for sharing it and thereby causing us all to remember more for which we are thankful.

I'm also thankful for your visit and the nice comment you left at my blog. I do hope my list didn't seem forced. I really just meant that I want it to be deliberate as I begin this as a new participant.

Blessings,
Janera

Laurie Ann, thank you and thanks for stopping by. I'm glad I visited you.

Thanks for stopping by Denise.

Nancie, thanks. God has been good to me and I'm still going strong after so long.

Serendipity, thanks for stopping by and I pray that I stay cancer-free forever too. Praise to God no matter what the future holds though. May He keep my mind stayed on Him no matter what. I pray I feel this way all of the time.

Blessed One, thanks for coming over. I sure do not mind if I'm on your blog roll. If anything, I'm surprised. I'm fairly new to this and don't have a lot of readers. I'm okay with that. God gives the increase in this and everything else, if He chooses. I would love to come and visit you more often. I think I shall, my dear:) I like taking the quiz too. It keeps you sharp, doesn't it? Come back by any time. I'd love to have ya!

Janera, thank you for visiting me. I didn't think "forced" at all. Hope I didn't say anything to indicate that, because it's surely not what I was thinking. I really enjoyed stopping by your place. TT is such a blessing to us all.

Lisa, you're so right. Even though it's a virtual world over the internet, there seems to be some really nice people you can connect with. I'm not on much, but I do enjoy so much the comments, care, and concern that I see people out there expressing to one another. Too bad it always has to be over the internet and we can't have these relationships more right around us.

Hi Peculiar,

I thank God that He enables us to meet through Thankful Thursday. Thanks for visiting me and your encouragements.

I am thankful to God that I can meet you and many others through blogging. I am in the midst of listing out blogging friends that I like to share 2 awards with. I have included your blog as well. I like to share Share The Love Award and Friendship Award with you. Do come over and receive them when you have time. You can save the images and upload them to your side bars or posts. And feel free to pass them to your blogging buddies. Take care and God bless you and family always!

With appreciation and prayers,
Nancie
