WHILE THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, HE
HAS MANY NAMES FOR MANY REASONS
Want to know some names for God for perhaps your prayer time, your study time, or your teaching time? I have listed for you 25 names for God, in Hebrew, from the Old Testament. I included the meanings in English and Scripture references to them. They are worth looking into and studying. Look at what circumstance the person or people were going through when they used the name. I've heard people, even today, pray using some of the many names for God, when their circumstance or that name for God fit whatever situation or thing that they were praying about.
