Jacob was the most popular boy's name in 2006. That surprised me when I found the information. I don't think anyone picked that name as their answer either. So...there you go. There is a new poll starting today, if you're interested. It is at the bottom of the blog page. The correct answer will be posted next week. Go play along.

I answered the poll. As for the post below, I have thought of those things before, and many, because we are in the country and I home school, I don't think would occur at least at the ages my kids are 16 down to 11, but perhaps when they are older for some of them. For some of them, I know them well enough and at this point the older ones are very forward in telling me what they are doing and participating in (friends, Facebook). I am sure some think I am naive, but the same was said for my mother, and she wasn't, and nothing shocking occurred in our family.
Dawn, first, thanks for stopping by. Second, naive or not, not one of us would want to think that we'll hear anything like the questions I posed. Maybe you will never; prayerfully, you won't, but I can tell you, you never know. All we can do is train them up and pray for them regularly. After that, you hope for the best!
Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog! Have a great day!
